After thorough mixing and reaction with coagulant, the sludge dewatering machine in the sand washing plant flows into the feed distributor of the concentration section, evenly distributing the sludge onto the inclined concentration section. In the first stage, pre-treatment stage, the solid content of the original slurry is generally low. Gravity settling or other methods are used to increase the slurry concentration to reduce processing costs. The commonly used pretreatment method is to mix the concentrated sludge with a polymer flocculant. Under the action of the flocculant, the material is agglomerated with fine particles and preliminarily precipitated. This is the preparation condition for sludge dewatering on the machine.
In the second stage, gravity dewatering is used to add the pre treated sludge to the filter belt. Under the action of gravity, free water outside the flocs is filtered out through the filter belt, reducing the moisture content of the sludge.
In the three-stage process, wedge-shaped pre pressure dewatering is carried out. After gravity dewatering, the sludge begins to enter the wedge-shaped pressing section, and the gap between the filter belts gradually narrows. Squeezing and shearing effects are applied to the sludge to dehydrate it again. After this stage, the fluidity of the sludge is almost completely lost, ensuring that the sludge will not be squeezed out in the squeezing and dewatering section under normal circumstances.
In the fourth stage, squeezing and dewatering, the sludge is repeatedly squeezed and sheared by a carefully designed squeezing roller system to remove a large amount of capillary water, gradually reducing the moisture content of the sludge and forming a sludge filter cake. At the separation point of the reselection filter belt, the filter cake is scraped off by the unloading scraper, and after unloading, the filter cloth is cleaned and enters the next cycle
